The Idea Behind the Competition

If you’ve been dreaming of participating in an academic conference, a seminar, or a master class, or hearing a particular lecturer who interests you, and you don’t want to wait for someone else to organize the kind of academic event you envision, you now have the opportunity to organize the academic event yourself with financial and other forms of support from the Centre of Student Academic Development at HSE.

We support a variety of events including student conferences, seminars, master classes, and academic events abroad. Co-financing of events with faculties is also possible.

We encourage you to think of a new and original format that will foster student interest in science and research!

The competition is aimed at giving students practical experience with: organizing student events involving research, popular science, and education; the popularization of science among students at HSE; and the development of the student academic community.

Who Can Apply for Funding?

The competition accepts both individual and group applications that meet the following criteria:

• they are submitted by students enrolled at the HSE Moscow campus
• they are submitted no later than 30 days before the date of the event

Results will be determined by the competition panel.
